Included within its range of subsea tools is the long stroke SST range of subsea tensioners, which feature quick reaction nuts to help divers work efficiently and effectively. The tensioner is specifically designed for subsea operation to reduce diver fatigue, improve safety and enhance productivity.The SST range covers bolt sizes from ¾" to 3 ½" with just seven tool models. Each offers a positive overstroke to prevent piston expulsion or seal damage and feature piston / cylinder misalignment compensation to protect the integrity of the tool. Robust and easy to use, the tool incorporates an anti-slip surface to improve handling of the tool below the water and an anti-corrosion coating for long life.
