Hydrovane offers complete compressor choice at Hannover Fair 2011
22/02/2011 Hydrovane (CompAir)
At this year's Hannover Fair (4th to 8th April), Hydrovane is showcasing a selection of models from its rotary vane compressor range, giving customers an overview of the breadth of machines and energy-saving technologies available for a wide variety of applications.Exhibited on the Gardner Denver stand B54 (Hall 26), visitors can view models from both the horizontal and vertical compressor series, with sizes ranging from as little as 1kW up to 75kW.
All Hydrovane units have a compact and integrated design, which makes installation easy, even in restricted spaces.
Horizontal models on display include the fixed speed HV01RM (1.1kW) along with a 4kW air system module package for OEM applications, called the AV-04-ASBN. Originally developed for the rail, bus and automotive sectors to supply air for braking, pneumatics and suspension systems to name a few, the AV-04-ASBN is now available as a packaged product for industrial customers.
The unit on display can deliver up to 600 litres/minute at a variety of pressures, but Hydrovane can provide greater or lesser flow rates depending on customer requirements.
Also on show is a horizontal unenclosed HV22PEAS (22kW) compressor. This fixed speed unit incorporates Hydrovane's reduced energy venting system (REVS). This automatically vents the internally compressed air when the compressor switches to off-load mode, reducing energy consumption to 25% of the on-load figure.
REVS technology is a preferred choice for operators keen to minimise the energy costs of off-load running and is also available as standard on all vertical enclosed (ACE) 4 to 45kW compressors, such as the HV45 ACE regulated speed (RS) unit also on display.
Hydrovane's regulated speed technology is available on units from 4 to 75kW and uses proven air-cooled inverter technology. With energy accounting for
up to 74% of a compressors lifetime costs, this technology is helping to deliver significant savings to customers across the globe.
Hydrovane will be promoting its Advance extended warranty programme, which offers compressor warranty for up to 10 years or 48,000 hours cover (on the air end). Customers benefit from a proven preventative maintenance schedule, using genuine service kits, parts and oil and performed by qualified service engineers.
Hydrovane is committed to expanding its distribution network and would welcome discussions with all interested parties who wish to promote and service its Hydrovane products.
Hydrovane personnel are available throughout the show to advise on the best type and size of compressor package to suit customers' requirements.
Further technical information
Hydrovane compressors combine rotary vane technology operating at very low running speeds, with a guaranteed supply of high quality, pulse free air. Each Hydrovane model is designed to provide predictable, long-life performance with a typical 100,000+ running hours; regardless of the size of machine or the pressure of air generated.
With low noise levels, Hydrovane open format compressors can be sited easily at the point of use, but, enclosed versions are also available to reduce levels to as low as 66 dB(A).
Hydrovane compressors are used within numerous market sectors, including automotive, general manufacturing and medical, as well as in a range of specialist applications in transit (road, rail and off-road), gas boosting (sweet, sour and bio gas) and for snow cannons.
As well as complete packages, Hydrovane can supply customer specific builds for OEM applications.
