Tribopolymer specialist igus® demonstrates its new iglidur® L500 material for high-speed rotary applications.Developed specifically for fast, continuous speeds of over 6500 rpm and temperatures of up to +250degC, the bearing material is particularly well-suited for fan and electric motor applications.
In line with the durable and robust nature of iglidur® materials, the new L500 material has high wear-resistance due to its low thermal expansion and moisture absorption properties, as well as being self-lubricating and maintenance free - allowing a significantly longer running time in rotary motion applications.
