2021 seems to be the year of the drone. In this week’s video you will be introduced to the “drone in the box” system. This allows drones to fly autonomously and automatically, it also serves as a landing platform, control box and offers a station for recharging the battery. 

In the video, you can see that igus® products are used not only in drones but also within the box, from miniature energy chains and dryspin® leadscrews for opening and closing the cover to the ReBel robolink® joint automating the battery replacement.
