"The need for efficient remote operation and servicing of industrial equipment and the evident demand of those remote access capabilities being closely secured against any form of abuse have been the primary drivers to deploy industrial security technology for a couple of years. Following the discoveries of Stuxnet and other more recent cyber threats, there is now also a significant rise in awareness for the local vulnerabilities of even allegedly isolated industrial systems and critical infrastructures," said Torsten Rössel, Chief Marketing Officer for Innominate. "This conference is an excellent platform for automation engineers and IT professionals to learn and discuss about the measures they can and should actively take to ensure the security and the integrity of their industrial networks."
