Innovation key at the Total Processing & Packaging Exhibition 2013
12/06/2012 PPMA Show (Reed Exhibitions UK)
Innovation will be extremely high on the agenda at the Total Processing & Packaging Exhibition when it returns to the NEC, Birmingham on 4-6 June 2013.The event, which is widely recognised as the UK's largest hub for the latest production line solutions, materials developments and product solutions, is expected to attract thousands of senior level decision makers in processing, packaging, manufacturing and retail who are looking for the latest new innovations which will enhance their productivity and deliver a cutting-edge advantage in today's competitive business environment.
Pakex, one of the world's oldest packaging events, known globally throughout the industry, will be making a return to the exhibition as one of the three key sector-specific hubs in 2013. Aimed at exhibitors within the packaging design, machinery, materials and services sector, the hub is set to draw in senior figures from across the packaging industry who are looking for new innovations that tap into the latest consumer and retail trends.
The 2013 installment of the PPMA Show will also take place at the Total Processing & Packaging Exhibition. The event, which normally takes place in September, showcases the very latest processing and packaging machinery, offers exhibitors the opportunity to demonstrate how their equipment can help manufacturers, processors and engineers enhance the productivity of their operations in the food, drink, cosmetics, pharmaceutical and household and personal care sectors.
Interphex - the third dedicated sector hub at the show - is dedicated to delivery manufacturing solutions for the pharmaceutical industry. Companies specialising in pharmaceutical manufacturing, equipment and engineering, operations and anti-counterfeiting will be showcasing how their solutions can help improve efficiency and add a point of difference to pharmaceutical businesses in the UK and overseas.
Graham Earl, Exhibition Manager at The Total Processing & Packaging Exhibition, commented: "The Total Processing & Packaging Exhibition will be the UK's largest packaging and processing exhibition in 2013, so it really does offer a great opportunity to companies specialising in that sector to get their brand, products and equipment in front of a high profile audience. We're expecting a large number of decision makers from both the UK and overseas to visit so the event should provide our exhibitors with a cost-effective means of meeting and demonstrating their solutions to receptive buyers, proving that their products really work and of course, networking with new and potential customers."
Neil Fowell, Managing Director, Yamato Scale Dataweigh commented: "The Total Processing & Packaging Exhibition is one of the most important machinery events in the UK. It attracts a large number of good quality domestic and international visitors over the three-day period which, in 2010, resulted in some fantastic business leads and subsequent wins for the company. So naturally we're looking forward to exhibiting at the 2013 event. I'm sometimes surprised by the lack of value people place on trade shows but in this instance, if you're not there, you really miss out."
Armin Armin Auer, Managing Director at Uhlmann UK Ltd, added: The quality of visitors from the pharmaceutical sector has always been a strong feature of the Total Processing & Packaging Exhibition, which gives us the ideal opportunity to promote our business to our key target market."
Tortsen Giese, Marketing Manager, PR and Exhibitions at Ishida Europe, concluded: "For Ishida, the Total Processing & Packaging Exhibition is definitely the UK's top packaging and machinery event, which attracts high quality visitors from a wide variety of market sectors. Certainly the exhibition has always provided us with a rich seam of leads, particularly from the food industry, and for that reason remains a 'must exhibit there' event in the calendar"
