INVERTEK DRIVES UNVEILS NEW COOLVERT SPEC AND ENHANCED SAFETY FEATURES AT CHILLVENTA 2024

Invertek Drives, a global leader in variable frequency drive (VFD) technology, has announced the launch of its new Frame Size 5 Optidrive Coolvert at Chillventa 2024 (Hall4, Stand 4-270), designed specifically for refrigeration systems, including BLDC compressors, condensing units, chiller units and heat pumps.
The expansion of the Coolvert range, which includes Frame Sizes 2,3,4, and now 5, brings enhanced capabilities to larger scroll compressors used in demanding industrial and commercial applications. In addition, Invertek is announcing new safety features across the Coolvert range to meet the latest industry standards.
Optidrive Coolvert provides OEMs with a high-performance, compact solution to optimise system efficiency and meet stringent regulations.

Expanded power range
Meets the demands of high-capacity scroll compressor applications, offering 400V 3-phase output currents up to 75A.
Compact design
Maintains the Coolvert series' commitment to minimising panel space and reducing overall system costs, even at higher power levels.
Simplified installation
Ensures quick and easy setup, typically less than 15 minutes with the appropriate compressor data sheets.
Enhanced Safety Features
Approved and certified by an external body to IEC 60730: Frame Sizes 3, 4, and 5, and Frame Size 2 will follow shortly. This includes Class B software for "locked rotor protection," overcurrent, and input/output phase loss, ensuring enhanced safety and reliability.
Extended five year warranty
Invertek has recently announced an extended five year warranty.
