John Crane Middle East FZE - Stand No: 409The inaugural Middle East Turbomachinery Symposium (METS) exhibition in Qatar will give visitors the chance to learn more about the end-to-end solutions John Crane provides for the turbomachinery market, as it substantially expands its capabilities in the Middle East through a recent growth programme. John Crane aims to be the provider of choice for the turbomachinery market, both in the Middle East and beyond. Visitors to the stand will discover more about how the company's world-class combination of products, services and support helps its customers achieve the highest levels of performance and reliability.
Proven gas seal solutions
John Crane's comprehensive turbomachinery solutions, represented by the company's Type 28 family of engineered gas seals, will be a key theme of its exhibition. These non-contacting, dry-running gas seals are designed to deliver powerful performance in harsh operating environments. There are many thousands of them providing reliable day-to-day service around the world in the extraction and refining, petrochemical, gas transmission and chemical processing sectors.
The Type 28 range offers seals to suit a wide variety of applications. These include the Type 28AT for low pressure applications, the Type 28XP and Type 28EXP for high-pressure and extreme high pressure applications, the Type 28ST for use with steam turbines and the Type 28VL which is designed for use with vaporizing liquids. All are designed to provide the type of outstanding reliability which leads to greater availability, dramatic cost savings and significant productivity gains.
Outstanding support systems
The inclusion of gas seal support systems on the John Crane stand will emphasise the fully integrated nature of the solutions the company provides. It offers a full range of products which can be used to create cost-effective gas seal support systems for the turbomachinery sector. These systems are at the heart of any reliable sealing solution, helping to reduce maintenance and downtime, increasing cost savings and minimising environmental emissions by generating the optimum operating environment for the dry gas seals they support. John Crane is also able to support this outstanding product offering with a wealth of expertise which allows it to apply appropriate design modules to create tailored support systems for individual applications.
Power Transmission Couplings
Proven and reliable power transmission couplings have long been a John Crane hallmark and these products will also be evident on the METS stand. The company's current range of Metastream couplings are the result of over 50 years of constant product development. This has created couplings whose ability to help rotating equipment operate at optimum levels has been thoroughly proven, time after time and in countless applications. The John Crane range includes various high performance models which are designed to satisfy the stringent demands of modern turbomachinery applications and full details will be available to visitors.
Specialist filtration capability
Prominent on John Crane's stand will be the company's specialist Indufil filtration systems. Designed specifically for rotating equipment fluid, fuel and gas conditioning applications, these filtration systems again emphasise John Crane's ability to provide an extended range of technology-based products to the turbomachinery market. Indufil filtration systems are characterised by the highest levels of quality at every stage, right from the initial design through to final manufacture. As a result they provide proven and reliable filtration performance which makes them ideally suited to a wide variety of turbomachinery applications.
Advanced bearing technology
Also on display will be John Crane's range of engineered bearing technologies. Backed by over 60 years of dedicated bearing industry experience John Crane's bearing solutions have become an increasingly popular choice with customers around the world. The range includes a variety of standard thrust and journal multilobe bearings, tilting pad bearings for high-speed rotor applications, combined bearings for restricted assembly applications and bespoke bearing solutions.
