From 18 June to 20 June 2013 Sandvik Coromant UK will host a series of ‘The Challenge to your business' seminars at their Productivity Center in Halesowen. The seminars aim to provide manufacturers facing today's business challenges and cost pressures with new advanced knowledge and production methods that will help reduce cost efficiently while maintaining high quality standards. The events also offer an ideal networking opportunity and allow reflection on issues affecting their businesses.

Daily presentations and demonstrations offer a well-rounded blend of new product information, technical solutions and processes in a variety of metal cutting areas. The program will include modern cutting tools and application techniques while turning Inconel components (Thursday 20th only), productive methods of milling pockets and other typical component features as well as hole making methods using the latest solid and indexable carbide tooling technology. During the day, indexable carbide gear hobbing and small part machining utilizing pressure coolant tooling on a Sliding Head type machine will also be addressed.

Registration to attend a day seminar is now open to manufacturers who will in addition to the free seminar have the chance to automatically enter into a prize drawn to win an exclusive tour of the MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS factory.
