Just Trays spreads the cost of investing with Boge

When bespoke shower tray manufacturer Just Trays upgraded their compressed air system with Boge they opted to lease purchase the equipment to make the investment in new capital equipment affordable in the current economic climate.Just Trays, based in Leeds, West Yorkshire, is the UK's leading manufacturer of shower trays. Over the past two years Just Trays has invested over £1 million into improving equipment, staff and processes at their production facility in Leeds to ensure that only the highest quality shower trays are produced.
Compressed air is used within the production process to spray gel coats onto the tray bases. The existing compressed air system had become inefficient and with the development of the production facility was under capacity to meet the growing compressed air demands. Rick Dumbleton, the Senior Production Manager at Just Trays asked a number of compressed air suppliers for recommendations.
Boge recommended replacing the ageing compressed air system with a Boge CLD10RM350. Part of the popular C series range the CLD- provides a complete compressed air station for the end user with a CL series screw compressor and a refrigerant dryer mounted on a horizontal compressed air receiver. This compact design requires only a minimum footprint. The low sound pressure values also make this a clear choice for point of use applications.
The CL series provides the end user with a highly efficient compressor solution engineered to generate high free air deliveries in continuous operation. The integration of all essential components in the compact Boge air-end module virtually eliminates external pipe-work thus reducing internal flow losses making the CL series highly efficient and dependable.
Just Trays chose to follow Boge's recommendations and a CLD10RM350 was recently installed. Rick Dumbleton said "The Boge compressor and service proposal was competitive. Additionally we knew we would be dealing direct with the manufacturer, who is literally on our doorstep, to meet our backup and service requirements. Having the option to finance the equipment through lease was also a key factor in our decision."
Financing a new compressor through lease is becoming an ever popular choice in the current economic climate. Rather than using capital a customer can spread the cost of the new equipment, typically, over 3 to 5 year periods with the final payment transferring ownership of the equipment.
For Just Trays it was the ideal solution as Rick Dumbleton explains "With a number of projects on the go we had a limited budget to upgrade the compressed air system. Lease made investing in the new compressor affordable."
The CLD- series is available in the standard pressure of 8 and 10 bar. Output capacities range from 1.03 - 2.21 m3/min and motor power 7.5 to 15 kW.
