LAIDLER ASSOCIATES TO EXPLAIN IMPACT OF MACHINERY SAFETY REGULATIONS AT MAINTEC SUMMIT 2011

Although the Machinery Directive has been around for well over a year now, there is still a great deal of confusion on how to comply with regulations. This confusion is set to increase further as the period of time before EN954-1 is withdrawn (to be replaced by EN13489-1) is growing ever closer.However, for Maintenance Managers that want to know how the Machinery Directive is going to affect them, help is at hand at the Maintec Summit 2011. The seminar will discuss how the directive has been received by industry, why the Machinery Directive might now be referred to as the 'lifecycle directive', how the directive has changed and how the standards have helped it to change.
