LEANNE MANN JOINS YAMATO TO STRENGTHEN COMMERCIAL OPERATIONS

Leanne Mann has joined automatic weighing machine manufacturer Yamato Dataweigh as commercial operations coordinator to assist the technical support and operations teams with customer quotes and delivery.Commenting on her role she said: "I will be assisting the technical support team to demonstrate that Yamato has a responsive service and can specify and quote for customers' requirements, accurately and quickly. I will also be helping to implement new production principles at our new Leeds premises as we strive for class-leading delivery and efficiency."
Following a recent strengthening of its customer support team Yamato has further enhanced its commercial operations team.
Yamato is enhancing its internal processes, management and support teams to improve proactivity around operations.
Yamato commercial operations manager Andrea Spencer added: "We are very pleased to welcome Leanne to the Yamato team. She brings a wealth of experience in technical support and administration with her.
"She will be assisting Peter Hartley and Mark James with developing quotations for metal detectors and checkweighers, either in combined production line solutions or as individual machines.
"Leanne will also be supporting the Yamato technical support, customer care and sales teams to show that Yamato is proactive in dealing with quotes accurately and quickly and can deliver orders on time to tight production deadlines."
Another of Leanne's roles will be to ensure the timely delivery of capital equipment. She will follow up on Yamato's completed sales orders and ensure delivery deadlines are met. She will also be the first point of customer contact for delivery queries.
Leanne will liaise with sales engineers to maintain regular contact with customers who have ordered new machinery and assist with the day-to-day administration of the commercial operations office.
Andrea Spencer said: "Leanne has great communications skills. She will assist greatly with Yamato's delivery of a high-quality service to its customers.
"She will also be helping to ensure that the commercial operations office runs as smoothly as possible."
When she's not working Leeds-based Leanne spends her time looking after her two-year old daughter.
