It's only a matter of weeks since Thorite, the UK's biggest pneumatic products and process systems distributor, added to its nine-strong network of regional Centres by opening in Brierley Hill, West Midlands, but the new venture is already on the up and up.Trading under the name LL Fluid Power - a wholly owned Division of Thorite, the new Centre has now recruited Steven Tranter (22) as Sales Administrator. Steven lives in Brierley Hill and brings an enthusiastic approach to his new role, assisting with stock control, sales follow up and general administration.
Steven joins a tight-knit team of pneumatics experts at the new Sales & Service Centre, which offers full customer service and support facilities including a showroom, trade counter and extensive stocking area for products from major fluid power manufacturers including Norgren, SMC, Festo, Parker, Burkert, Aro and Piab, the bulk of which are available on next day delivery.
Speaking of progress to date at LL Fluid Power Thorite's Marketing and Engineering Services Director, Ross Gowler said: "Despite the current difficult economic conditions it is rapidly becoming clear that our decision to provide Thorite's unique brand of customer service and pneumatics system expertise in the West Midlands is exceeding our early expectations.
