LORIEN SUPPORTS EXPANSION OF AGRICULTURAL VEHICLE FACTORY

Lorien Engineering Solutions is to support the construction of a 20,000 sq m factory extension for one of Poland's largest agricultural vehicle manufacturers.

Almost one in four combines bought in Poland is manufactured by CNHindustrial at its factory in Plock. The expanded production building will enable CNH to increase its manufacturing capacity and extend its product range for combine harvesters and balers.

Lorien has been commissioned to provide a full scope of engineering, procurement and construction management services.

Ground breaking takes place this Autumn with completion scheduled for September 2018.

Łukasz Kolendowicz, managing director of Lorien Engineering Polska, said: "This is a fast-track construction project that required a clear procurement approach. We are providing ongoing engineering support to ensure the project runs smoothly and on time, enabling CNHindustrial to add much-needed extra capacity to its operation in Plock."

Lorien is an engineering design and project management firm, based in Wroclaw, with a client portfolio that includes some of the UK and Poland's best-known manufacturers.

The company, headquartered in Burton-on-Trent, UK, specialises in projects for food, brewing, drinks, life sciences and advanced manufacturing. It is a division of GP Strategies Corporation, a global engineering and technical services organisation headquartered in Maryland, US.
