M12 outdoor cabling for CANopen and DeviceNet applications

Phoenix Contact has extended its extensive portfolio of M12 connectors for outdoor use with cabling for CANopen and DeviceNet applications.The moulded M12 connectors use high-quality materials such as V4A stainless steel (1.4404), polypropylene plastics, and a special sealing concept. This design enables use in temperatures up to +105°C and ensures good resistance to high-pressure cleaning and sunlight (UV). The connectors are therefore designed for use outdoors under harsh conditions, e.g., on construction or agricultural machinery, on which CAN-based communication is used in particular.
The range includes fully shielded connectors in straight five-position pin or socket design with an FRNC DeviceNet cable. The cable sets are available in lengths of 2.5 or 10 meters; customer-specific lengths are available on request.
