Mitsubishi Electric announces a significant presence at D&C exhibition in 2016

UK trade shows have experienced their ups and downs over the last two or three decades, however, they have endured and are now enjoying somewhat of a resurgence in popularity as exhibition organisers and venues work together to improve the relevance and accessibility of their events.

Against this backdrop Mitsubishi Electric has committed to take a large space at the 2016 Drives & Controls show, considered by many to be the most significant UK automation show on the calendar.

Chris Evans, Marketing & Operations Group Manager at Mitsubishi Electric - Automation Systems Division UK comments on the decision to effectively 'go large' at the 2016 Drives & Controls exhibition, 'For those of us with an interest, or indeed a passion for technology, automation systems have always held a certain fascination and there is nothing like seeing a full system in action to get the creative process working.'

'We are looking to inspire, not just the next immediate generation of engineers and programmers but everyone working in automation and engineering today, our product range alone is enough to control and automate virtually anything from a small machine to an entire integrated production or process plant. The equipment can do this incredibly reliably and efficiently while being easier than ever to set-up.'

'For this reason we will be demonstrating a full range of Mitsubishi Electric automation solutions and applications for visitors to the stand to be inspired by and start thinking about their next automation project.'

Mitsubishi Electric is assembling an exhibition display that integrates robots, HMIs (human machine interfaces), servos, drives, PLCs (programmable logic controllers) and networking into interactive displays for the Drives and Controls Exhibition 2016, which takes place at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham, 12-14 April.
