NanoKTN Announces 6th Annual HiPerNano Conference and Exhibition - 13th March 2014, London

The Nanotechnology Knowledge Transfer Network (NanoKTN - www.nanoktn.com), one of the UK's primary knowledge-based networks for Micro and Nanotechnologies, has announced the programme for its annual HiPerNano (High Performance Nano-engineering) Conference and Exhibition, which will again be sponsored by The IET.Now in its sixth year, the HiPerNano Conference and Exhibition is a forum for bringing together nanotechnology solution developers with end-users to solve engineering challenges such as corrosion, erosion, friction, wear, impact, and enhanced electrical and thermal performance. The annual event attracts around 80 senior delegates, the majority from industry, and is an ideal opportunity for the whole supply chain to network, form partnerships for collaborative research funding, and find commercial products.
The day will be opened with a keynote from Dick Elsy, CEO of the High Value Manufacturing (HVM) Catapult, followed by a keynote on Graphene from the Cambridge Graphene Centre. Other confirmed speakers include: Rolls-Royce, Keronite, Tata Steel Research & Development, Airbus Defence & Space, National Physical Laboratory, University College London, the University of Sheffield and UK H2020 National Contact Point for NMP.
The programme will be complemented by exhibitors and technology 'pitches', for which applications are invited by Friday 7th February 2014.
