New Compact Angle Sensors

Novotechnik, U.S. introduces the Vert-X 1600 Series of non-contact angle sensors. The series features easy mounting in tight spaces with a 16 mm diameter body and mounting flanges with metal inserts.Vert-X 1600 Series sensors measure 0 to 360° with full resolution and accuracy at programmed electrical angles as well. Other key specifications include independent linearity to ±0.3% of measurement range, resolution to 14-bits, repeatability to 0.1° and life of 50 million movements.
Analog and digital options as well as single and redundant versions are available. Vert-X 1600 output choices include 0.25 to 4.75 V, 0.5 to 4.5 V, PWM, SPI, SSI and Incremental (A,B,Z).
Operating temperature range is -40 to +105°C and applications include servo drives, dancer arm machinery and adjustable medical equipment such as operating tables, dental cairs and MRI scanners.
