New Icotek IP54 rated KEL-FA split multi-cable entry frames for cables with connectors now available from Foremost Electronics

Foremost Electronics, the engineering-led Essex based importer and specialist distributor of electromechanical components, announces the availability of the latest addition to Icotek’s market leading range of cable entry plates. The KEL-FA range is a compact system to designed route and seal any combination of pre-terminated cables, conduits or pneumatic hoses using Icotek KT series grommets.
No tools are required for assembly; once the entry frame is populated with grommets and cables, the cover is put on and the two clamping levers are locked with the lower part by pressing them down. The twist-proof construction of the KEL-FA enables intuitive assembly, routing and sealing to IP54 for cable diameters from 1 to 35 mm. The KEL-FA frames match exactly the cut-out dimensions for 10-, 16- and 24-pin standard industrial connectors and can either be screw mounted or simply snapped into a KEL-SNAP frame.
KEL-FA split multi-cable entry frames provide integrated sealing, very high cable density with multi-hole grommets, very high strain relief, high flexibility with a wide variety of grommet options and the IMAS-CONNECT™ system. Retrofits, repairs and maintenance can be done much more easily and quickly with the KEL-FA cable entry and as connectors do not have to be removed for assembly warranty on pre-terminated cables remains intact.
Key specifications include IP rating (EN 60529) of IP54, flame resistance class UL94-V0, self-extinguishing, polyamide material, operating temperature -40 to 140 C°, UV-resistant, silicone free, halogen free and screw mounting.
