New IP65 flush fit compression T bar latch from Elesa

The new CSMH from Elesa is a flush mounting compression latch with pop-out T bar handle that offers IP65 protection from dust and water ingress. Ease of use is provided by the T handle which operates the compression latching over a range adjustable from 13mm to 75mm. This ensures soft closure with the latch itself covered in glass reinforced polyamide to provide added protection for the cabinet paint finish over the operation cycle.The CSMH is particularly suitable for applications on power generation or HVAC equipment, as well as machine controls and power distribution panels in outdoor situations where it is resilient to bad weather. Clever design thinking has allowed Elesa to include an 8mm padlock hasp facility and a micro-switch mounting to permit remote sensing of the handle position so that its status may be electronically determined, i.e. open or closed. The CSMH is available with single or differing key combinations (up to 400 possibilities).
