New Nanoflex® Optiperl fluorine free repellent coating for glass and ceramics

Nano-coating specialists Signo Nanocare UK are launching a fluorine free glass and ceramic water and dirt repellent coating - Nanoflex® Optiperl. It gives a new and impressive ‘water-glide’ functionality combined with environmentally responsible fluorine free technology which meets the green “high bar” by excluding all chlorofluorocarbons (CFC’s) and perfluorochemicals (PFC’s) - which are particularly harmful to the environment.

Optiperl provides treated surfaces the following characteristics: -

    • A unique water glide quality which is reflected in exceptional smoothness to the touch.
    • Optimised hydrophobia – water runs off the surface.
    • A high level of non-stick dirt repellent functionality

Optiperl, has been developed for use on: -

    • Glass and ceramic surfaces in sanitary areas (showers, tiles, and mirrors)
    • Window and construction glass

With the following benefits: -

    • Invisible to the human eye (coating thickness to approx’ 150nm)
    • UV stable, abrasion resistant
    • Resistant to temperature change
    • Simple one part application process to clean surfaces
    • Chemical resistant between pH 2 to pH 13
    • Fluorine free

Optiperl is available in bulk from 1-200 litre containers for application to equipment during manufacturing or on site.
