NEW PREMISES AS BRILLOPAK CONTINUES TO GROW

Automated packing and palletising systems specialist Brillopak has moved to new premises as part of its continuing expansion plans.The 5,000 square foot manufacturing facility is based in East Peckham, near Tonbridge in Kent and is ideally placed to serve customers throughout the UK and Europe with fast and easy access to the M25, M2 and M20 motorways.
Housing the company's specialist design and manufacturing teams, the new factory is being fitted out in line with 'lean manufacturing' principles to enable Brillopak to maximise the efficiency of the design and build of new systems and machines.
"Lean concepts are a key part of the complete end of line solutions that we develop for our customers in order to deliver overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) and reduce total cost of ownership, so we felt it was important to demonstrate the same approach in the creation of our machines," explains Brillopak director David Jahn. "The new premises have given us the opportunity to adopt 5S from the beginning."
The move comes as Brillopak is enjoying a record year for sales. "We have already secured two firm orders for our newly launched C2 palletisers, which were unveiled at the PPMA Show this year, with several further enquiries in the pipeline, and we also have orders for nine of our pallet lifters," says David Jahn. "The new factory will ensure that we are able to respond quickly to all orders."
Brillopak is a specialist in end of line automation and pallet handling systems. Equipment is designed for production environments that have to cope with varying order sizes, widening product portfolios and ever more stringent regulations, helping customers to increase output, reduce costs and eliminate waste.
