New Weidmuller and Acal BFi partnership delivers unique combination of design-in skills and expertise

Weidmüller has announced the addition of design-in specialists, Acal BFi, to their UK distribution network. Starting in May, Acal BFi will focus on Weidmüller's wide range of connectivity products."Acal BFi have a strong reputation for designing in components and this, combined with Weidmüller's comprehensive product range and application support, will result in a strong partnership which means that our customers will be able to take advantage of an exceptional combination of skills and products," said Craig Ollerenshaw, Distribution Manager at Weidmüller.
Initially, the partnership will concentrate on promoting Weidmüller's Omnimate and Rockstar portfolios. The Omnimate applications-based product line includes PCB terminals and PCB connectors, panel feed-through terminal blocks, and electronics housings for industrial applications with emphases on signal processing and power electronics. The Rockstar heavy-duty connectors range is used for the secure, simple and time-saving assembly of machinery and facilities and includes connector housings made of die-cast aluminium which offer excellent protection against dirt, moisture and mechanical stress.
