The new filter selector program provides access to Parker's extensive filter expertise and experience, improving still further the wide range of services offered to customers in the industrial, mobile and construction industries.Covering the company's comprehensive range of hydraulic filter and lubrication filter technologies, this innovative, yet simple to use selection tool, allows users to identify the ideal filter by accessing one of two procedures offered by the Selector. The Quick Selector enables products to be chosen by clicking on the relevant filter location in a circuit diagram, to provide an automatic pre-selection, then lists the product options in the part number generator.
The Advanced Selector, on the other hand, allows the user to input the relevant system details and hydraulic fluid requirements needed for sizing the correct filter product. An application pre-selection is made by choosing one of the six market specific circuit diagrams that are provided in an easy to use, click-of-a-mouse operation; products can then be selected by clicking on the relevant filter location. For each selection, pressure drop calculations are provided, supported by recommended values based on the system details provided, such as flow and required cleanliness level.
Furthermore, the Filter Selector allows the user to determine to a recommended filter assembly part number by completing a series of detailed specification parameters, including media and micron preferences, seal material, thread options and indicator requirements. Once the process is complete, the user is able to process a product enquiry, download 3D CAD files and pdf technical specifications for further information.
