OMS shortlisted for PIG innovation award

Optical Metrology Services (OMS) is celebrating news that a report submitted by software engineer, Nicolas Pellerej (pictured), has been shortlisted for a top pipeline industry award. Open to all entrants under the age of 35, the Pipeline Industry Guild's (PIG) annual Young Professionals Network (YPN) competition recognises innovation in the industry and Pellerej has been shortlisted for the development of WeldAnalysis software.WeldAnalysis is OMS's unique weld defect inspection software, which provides the pipeline industry with the means to quickly analyse and approve weld profiles. Pellerej's document, which outlines the speed, accuracy and flexibility of the new solution, now goes forward to the competition's YPN eastern branch final, which takes place on 29 January 2016.
