Open Doors EMEA 2011 is Biggest Training Event in Autodesk History

5,500 Certification Exams Taken in Just One Day

READING, UK, 02 November, 2011 - Autodesk EMEA education and training distributor, KnowledgePoint has announced that, judged by number of exams taken, Open Doors EMEA 2011 on 19 October was the biggest ever training event in Autodesk history. Autodesk partners helped deliver 5,500 exams taken across a total of 35 countries.

During Open Doors EMEA 2011, free exams were made available all day at participating Autodesk Authorized Training Centers (ATCs) for all interested CAD professionals. There were no limits on the number of exams that each individual could sit on that day.

"Open Doors EMEA 2011 was a great success and highlights a major focus on certification delivery from all our partners," says Tomas Karlsson, Training and Certification Programs Manager, EMEA, Autodesk Education. "Special credit should go to Poland, Italy, Spain and South Africa, all of whom delivered standout results.

"To have matched our annual certification event record of 3,000 exams delivered at Autodesk University in Las Vegas is a stunning achievement," he adds.

Demand for the first pan-EMEA Autodesk Open Doors Certification was so strong that time ran out on the day. Some ATCs are continuing to hold more exam sessions in order to catch fulfil demand.
