Petroleum Leaders and Experts will Identify the Solutions to Overcome the Industry Issues

2020 has become a real test for people around the world, affecting all areas of life and work. The coronavirus pandemic has opened the eyes to the harsh truth for many oil and gas companies in the world, exposed the financial fragility of the industry, but also fostered further development and the need to revise its main vector.
Despite this, oil and gas are set to continue playing a vital role in the global economy with the geopolitical trends and political factors that directly affect the oil and gas industry. In the face of this difficult situation, industry leaders and experts still strive to meet, communicate and exchange ideas and solutions in this professional field. The 2021 SPE Russian Petroleum Technology Conference will take place on 12-15 October 2021 and will bring together oil and gas experts and specialists from IOCs and NOCs, including operators and service companies, research institutes and universities, government agencies and professional public organisations.
The programme committee has extended the conference programme and included both traditional topics of EOR, hydraulic fracturing, hard-to-recover reserves, innovations and digitalisation, and some current topics like industry decarbonisation and transfer to unconventional resources. With the help of industry experts, participants will try to determine whether it is possible to build a hydrocarbon-free future, what steps have already been taken and also what lies ahead.
