Premier manufacturing automation event comes to Birmingham
02/03/2012 Rockwell Automation
Rockwell Automation is pleased to announce that the Automation University - arguably the EMEA region's most significant and exciting free manufacturing event - is coming to Edgbaston Stadium, Birmingham in the United Kingdom, 25-26 April 2012.28th February 2012 - Places for the event are always in great demand with strictly limited availability to professionals in the fields of management, engineering, maintenance, purchasing and IT, who will benefit from an opportunity to discuss current and emerging challenges with industry colleagues, technical specialists and business consultants, in a relaxed, friendly, 'non-sales' environment.
Automation University Special takes place over two days offering multiple hands-on labs, live demos, seminars and industry sessions - bringing together solutions and specialists. The event features many of Rockwell Automation's technology partners and a large central exhibition area, where visitors can see products and technologies brought to life and meet people with the direct experience of applying the latest solutions to modern manufacturing requirements.
With a continuously adapted programme according to the modern manufacturing needs of the UK, Rockwell Automation has tailored the emphasis and content of the UK Automation University Special to help make the information, technology and advice at the show invaluable to its attendees. Thanks to the parallel streams and sheer variety of what is on offer, users are able to tailor a programme that suits their requirements, meaning they don't miss out on vital sessions or have to sit through presentations that are less than 100% relevant to their business.
Already with a five-year pedigree, Automation University Special has been phenomenally well received everywhere it has been held, thanks to its ability to deliver what people really need to know.
The event is free to attend, and on average 250 people attend each one. Places are always in great demand, so anyone wishing to visit the show is encouraged to register their interest early at www.automationuniversity.eu/emea. Feedback from past events shows that most visitors leave with new ideas, new directions and, in some cases, the wish that the event was longer.
