Product Launch for Southern 2013

Monitran returns for a third year to Southern Manufacturing & Electronics, and introduces its new portable Vibration Meter

High Wycombe, United Kingdom - Monitran, a leader in the development and manufacture of transducers for the measurement of vibration, proximity and displacement, has great plans for Southern Manufacturing & Electronics; on 13th and 14th February 2013 at FIVE, Farnborough, UK.

Monitran (stand U67) will be using the show to launch its new handheld Vibration Meter. Designed to conform to ISO 10816-3, features will include a crisp, colour LCD display, the ability to store up to 100 readings (acceleration, velocity or displacement) against a real-time clock, a rechargeable battery and a tough rubberised case.

Andy Anthony, Monitran's Managing Director, comments: "As an OEM of accelerometers and an expert in the physics of vibrations, we appreciate what a useful tool a Vibration Meter is for the frontline maintenance engineer."

Monitran's yet-to-be-named new Vibration Meter will be joining a range of other products to be showcased, including the MTN/5000-16 condition monitoring system launched at last year's Southern Manufacturing & Electronics.

In addition, Monitran's experts will be on hand to discuss the company's sensor customisation and turnkey project services.

Anthony concludes: "Southern Manufacturing & Electronics seems to be going from strength-to-strength, and works well for Monitran in terms of product launches. We're looking forward to unveiling our new product - a Vibration Meter designed by vibration experts - in February, and invite exhibition attendees to visit us on our stand."
