'QUALITY CULTURE AT PIX EUROPE'

In a recent three-yearly reassessment of their ISO and Investors in People credentials, PIX Europe received a glowing endorsement from independent auditor Michael Fredericks, from Warwick Management Network. He commented: "The quality drive, throughout the company (PIX Europe), has created an ingrained culture at all levels. People look to achieve 'right first time' results, avoid errors and maximise customer satisfaction."In August 2009, PIX Europe was the first company in Norfolk or Suffolk to successfully complete a joint assessment for both standards, receiving a commendable Bronze award for IIP in particular. Both accreditations are valid for three years, with ISO requiring annual audits.
The IIP framework highlights the vital role that employee engagement plays in business success - it is a core component of effective leadership and management, and accesses the exceptional management practices and dedication to employee development. To achieve the IIP standard, an organisation must meet a minimum of 39 requirements. PIX Europe not only met these requirements but also met a further 26 additional requirements beyond the minimum standard to gain their Bronze status.
ISO 9001:2008 recognises companies with quality management systems that consistently provide services that exceed customer and regulatory requirements. The certification is awarded to companies that ensure that the needs and expectations of employees and customers are met, and ensure that management; design and quality control procedures match the highest international standard of service delivery.
George Soanes, PIX Europe's Technical and Quality Manager, added "We are delighted at the audit results and conclusions. Whilst we fully expected to meet the standards, the manner in which we exceeded standards, and excelled as a team, is very satisfying."
