Quickon Installation System Expanded by 5-Pole Versions

The new 5-pole versions extend Phoenix Contact's Quickon installation system based on IDC quick connection technology (Insulation Displacement Connection). This means that now cables up to 5 x 2.5 mm² can be quickly and simply connected without stripping insulation and without requiring special tools.Especially in systems extending over wide areas, for instance in industrial lighting, renewable energy or conveyor technology applications, solutions are required that can be pre-assembled and simply and quickly connected without having to open the device. With its extensive program, the Quickon installation system offers a high degree of flexibility with IP68/69K protection.
Connectors, line connectors, panel feed-through and distributors for 4- and 5-pole applications up to 690 V are now available. Connection times are reduced by up to 80 percent as a result of the fast and simple handling of the Quickon quick connection.
