R. A. RODRIGUEZ EXTENDS EUROPEAN NETWORK

R. A. Rodriguez is an engineering company whose business is largely focused in the UK but two of its principal product ranges are significantly extending its reach into wider Europe. Already responsible for selling KAYDON bearings in the UK, Ireland, Scandinavia and now Turkey, its KHK and Framo gears representation is now becoming even more expansive.

With its appointment as European master distributor for the Japanese gear manufacturer KHK, R. A. Rodriguez is steadfastly growing its distributor network throughout Europe. And it is with these aspects and opportunity for new business associations in mind that the company has now joined the European Power Transmission Distributors Association (EPTDA).

The EPTDA is EMEA's largest trade association serving the mechanical power transmission and motion control industry. It represents over 200 companies in the industry across nearly 30 countries, mainly in Europe, North America; it also has a growing presence in the Middle East and Africa.

Peter Williamson, Managing Director of R. A. Rodriguez explained: "We are delighted to have joined EPTDA to further broaden our European network, both as a potential partner for manufacturers seeking technical representation, and to further develop our sales network for products we import from distant markets and sell throughout Europe."

R. A. Rodriguez's first appearance as an EPTDA member will be at the forthcoming Drives & Controls exhibition (8-10th April 2014) at the NEC, on stand number EP150.
