Record number of UKIVA members to exhibit at PPMA Show

More UKIVA member companies than ever before are to exhibit at the PPMA Show, 30th September - 2nd October 2014 at the NEC Birmingham, reflecting the growing strength of the UK vision market. Acrovision, Alrad Imaging, Baumer, Clearview Imaging, Cognex, Industrial Vision Systems, Multipix Imaging, Olmec-UK, Omron, Sick (UK), STEMMER IMAGING and UPM Conveyors will all be exhibiting.These UKIVA members include core vision technology and systems suppliers and vision system integrators or consultants who specialise in working with manufacturers to integrate vision systems into a new or existing production line. Vision technology and equipment on show will cover a multitude of applications, ranging from the measurement and inspection of product and components during the manufacturing process to the checking of the integrity of packaging to the reading and verification of print, barcodes and labels.
UKIVA Chairman, Mark Williamson, said: " Vision is now a genuine enabling technology for the processing and packaging industries. In addition to the UKIVA members in attendance, there will be a good deal of processing and packaging machines on show that already incorporate vision within them. Visitors and other exhibitors alike will benefit from the opportunity to experience some of the capabilities that vision has to offer."
