Find out more about the technology behind the Bloodhound SSC land-speed record attempt car and learn about the latest developments in NDT at the Materials Testing 2015 exhibition in Telford next week.The Bloodhound SSC show car will be on display throughout the exhibition, which runs from 8-10 September at the International Centre in Telford. Places are still available for a free networking event on the first evening, Tuesday 8 September, which will feature a presentation on the progress of the Bloodhound project and the role that NDT and condition monitoring is playing. Entry is free of charge although visitors must register online in advance.
The exhibition will also feature a series of free talks about NDT careers, including how NDT professionals can achieve the coveted Engineering Council registration, and the new NDT apprenticeships scheme. There will also be technical talks on everything from the use of NDT for 3D printing to advances in sub-sea inspection and corrosion analysis in pipelines.
Materials Testing - the world's most comprehensive exhibition of non-destructive testing (NDT), materials testing, condition monitoring and diagnostic technology - will feature around 75 exhibitors. It is organised by the British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing (BINDT).
