A servo acting lip seal energises at zero pressure to give a completely pressure-tight seal.

Non-intrusive pig detection offers the benefit of not requiring any holes in the pipe, maintaining the best integrity and safety. The Hi-T Magalert uses magnetic technology, is designed for exceptionally easy use and requires no additional setup or maintenance tools making it suitable for use as a mobile device which can be re-located as required. The Hi-T Ultralert harnesses the latest ultrasonic technology to detect pig movement in the pipe. Both of these non-intrusive options offer the possibility for built-in battery power, data logging and a GSM alarm interface, making them ideal for remote locations. SPX also offers customised solutions for GD Engineering's multiple pig launchers, to enable sequential pig launching operations to be performed remotely and without the need to depressurise the launcher.
