A new rental scheme from automated packing system specialist Brillopak will enable more companies to experience the cost savings and user-friendly benefits of robot palletising.Brillopak has introduced a rental service contract for its Compact C211 robotic palletiser which enables companies to operate the machine on a fixed monthly contract that includes preventative maintenance and all spares for the duration of the rental.
The company claims that any business operating a two shift pattern will be able to save money each month. "This is a non-capex investment opportunity that will improve the bottom line within eight weeks," says Brillopak director David Jahn.
The Brillopak C211 palletiser has been designed for use by unskilled staff, so it can be operational immediately after installation. It removes health and safety and manual handling issues and is capable of dealing with up to 40 units per minute in a variety of formats including retail crates, corrugated trays, cases and tubs.
The C211 is suitable for numerous food and general packing applications, including fruit and vegetables, salads, meats, and chilled and frozen foods, and each rental machine will be configured to the precise requirements of the customer.
In addition, the compact dimensions of the C211 mean the machine is able to fit easily into the smallest of factory spaces and it can be fully integrated with other packing equipment as part of a complete packing line solution. Its reliable and durable construction means it can operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
"The benefits of an automated palletising operation are immense in terms of reducing costs, maximising efficiencies and making the best use of the workforce but in the current economic climate, investment funds can be limited, " says David Jahn.
