Richard Hall promoted to President Industrial and Deputy Managing Director at Schaeffler UK

Bearings and automotive component and systems supplier Schaeffler has announced the appointment of Richard Hall as President Industrial for the UK & Ireland. Richard effectively takes over Kate Hartigan's President Industrial responsibilities following her retirement in 2013. Richard, who held the position of Vice President Automotive at Schaeffler UK from 2007 to 2013, is now also promoted to Deputy Managing Director, Schaeffler (UK) Ltd.Richard joined Schaeffler in 1995 and has managed sales, marketing, engineering, customer services and logistics functions in both the Industrial and Automotive Sales divisions. He has a BEng (Hons) Degree in Manufacturing Engineering and Business Studies from Coventry University and an MBA from Warwick Business School. In his new role as President Industrial UK & Ireland, Richard will report to Mr. Uwe Hartmann, Senior Vice President Industrial Sales Europe, Middle East and Africa.

As of 6th January 2014, Alena Useinovic is appointed as Vice President Automotive at Schaeffler UK, taking over duties and responsibilities from Richard Hall.
In the last 10 years, Alena has held various sales and business development roles for a world-leading automotive Tier One supplier. Based in both Germany and the UK, Alena gained valuable experience by working closely with customers such as Ford, BMW, GM and Mercedes. Alena has a BA (Hons) Degree in International Business Management from Cardiff University.

Schaeffler is continuously developing new lightweight, lower friction, more energy-efficient components and systems for vehicle engines, transmissions and chassis.
