Road Load Data sets the standard for modern durability testing

To support automotive engineers with the demands of modern vehicle testing, Hottinger Brüel & Kjær (HBK) has launched Fusion RX, a Road Load Data Acquisition (RLDA) platform for capturing reliable load data.

RLDA obtains this information via sensors in the vehicles, that collect data during on-road and track tests. This data forms the basis for durability, fatigue and performance validation, enabling engineers to create accurate lab test profiles and validate simulation models.

HBK’s RLDA is rooted in durability and fatigue engineering, helping engineers overcome key challenges such as limited prototypes, harsh operating conditions and increasingly complex systems, making it ideal for mobile testing in commercial, industrial or military vehicles.

RLDA has always operated in the real world; on proving grounds, off?highway terrain and test tracks where shock, vibration, temperature extremes and time pressure are part of daily testing.
