Parameters such as humidity, temperature, air pressure, light and acceleration are of importance for many industrial and scientific applications. The new universal data logger LOG-HC2, enables users to measure and record all these parameters simultaneously.The measurement of humidity, temperature, air pressure, illuminance and acceleration
(3-axis) is important in many industries including aerospace, automotive, chemical, defence, electronics, environment, engineering, textile, pharmaceuticals; scientific research and the transportation of high value products. The LOG-HC2 universal logger can record all of the above parameters simultaneously for extended periods due to its long life rechargeable lithium battery. The four-line LC display with backlight and multiple LEDs shows measurements clearly and ensures ease-of-use.
The robust, compact logger has two interchangeable probe inputs for any Rotronic HygroClip2 temperature and humidity probe selected from the extensive range of sensor types available. Air pressure and light sensors are integrated in the housing. The 3-axis acceleration sensor has a fast peak function. Pt100 sensors can be connected using an adapter. Additionally, four analogue inputs are available. More than 2,000,000 values can be recorded; data is rapidly downloaded to a PC.
The logger is perfect for confirming that a high value product has been transported securely and without damage. This is possible due to the 3-axis accelerometer and illuminance sensors that indicate exposure to severe shock or light should the package containing the logger have been opened during transit.
Two buttons are used to access all functions and to control the logging process. The logger is highly configurable with a logging interval from one second; programming only takes a few minutes. The software includes charting and statistical functions.
