Routeco becomes a Rockwell Automation distributor in the Netherlands

2nd September 2013 - Rockwell Automation a Global leader in industrial automation, has announced that Routeco, a leading distributor of industrial automation and control products in the Netherlands will become the preferred distributor for the Dutch market. The partnership has been established to deliver a superior customer experience to Rockwell Automation's clients in the Netherlands. Routeco will operate from its new Dutch premises in Best.Routeco aims to provide an outstanding service to the customer facilitated by in country stock of Rockwell Automation products in its warehouse in Best, improved logistics with daily shipments of Rockwell products throughout the Netherlands and emergency delivery service. A dedicated account management team with in depth Rockwell Automation product knowledge will be operating from Best.
Rockwell Automation's strategy is to work with a limited number of distributors. Based on this closer working relationship, Rockwell Automation expects the distributor to have an in depth understanding of the market they serve and to invest in building customer relationships in that market. As a result, the distributor is able to develop a collaborative relationship with customers to provide integrated supply, product aggregation, automation sophistication and local support.
