Scanvaegt brings Anritsu Technology to Scandinavia in new Partnership

In a major boon for the food industry in Denmark and Finland, Danish technology supplier Scanvaegt has joined forces with leading provider of industrial inspection equipment Anritsu Infivis Ltd. The two companies have formally agreed a contract making Scanvaegt the official distribution partner for Anritsu in Denmark.

As well as Denmark and Finland, the wider Scandinavia and DACH regions will also see some benefits from the new partnership. Food manufacturers across these regions can now benefit from the addition of Anritsu’s vast portfolio of premium quality check weighers, metal detectors and X-ray systems, covering applications ranging all the way from farm to fork.

New and existing Scanvaegt customers purchasing Anritsu equipment will now be able to take advantage of the company’s aftersales support as well as 24-7 customer support from Anritsu’s technology experts. The combination of technology from the two companies has worked out perfectly, with customers finding that Anritsu equipment can be easily integrated into existing Scanvaegt lines, since the two brands’ HMI systems are so alike. Scanvaegt can also integrate Anritsu equipment into any larger systems that they produce.

Anritsu’s stringent and highly sensitive inspection and detection equipment is some of the most advanced currently on the market. Its recently launched , for example, uses photon counting technology to detect the tiniest of low density contaminants such as fish bones. Scanvaegt is delighted to be able to offer this to its customers, along with Anritsu’s wider range of robust and fuss-free equipment.

Michael Nyborg, International Business Manager at Scanvaegt, commented: “We’re so pleased with the new partnership and what it means for our customers in Denmark and beyond. The aspirations and values of Anritsu resonate so well with our own. It’s the perfect match of technology and expertise, creating real value for our customers by ensuring the highest product quality and food safety as well as correct weight content and compliance, thus avoiding claims and optimizing operational performance.”

The partnership is being hailed as an important one for both companies and not merely a strategic sales alliance. The two companies have made a commitment to share and pool their technical expertise, with Scanvaegt colleagues being invited to Anrtisu’s Support Office in Venlo, the Netherlands to learn all about the company’s technology and exchange their shared knowledge of the industry.

This sharing of expertise will remain a key feature of the agreement going forward. Anritsu machinery has a long lifecycle and as technology continues to become more advanced, new iterations will be developed. The ongoing partnership between the two companies will help to guide both customers and staff with new and existing equipment in the years to come.

Michael Stuart, Anritsu’s European Sales Director, added: “We’re very excited about this new partnership with Denmark’s premier supplier of food technology equipment. We’re looking forward to sharing best practice and supporting Scanvaegt in providing its customers with the finest technology available both today and in the future.”
