Sidel brings global packaging expertise and local support to Agrofood Nigeria 2026

Sidel will exhibit at Agrofood Nigeria 2026 as the company continues to strengthen its presence across West Africa. Taking place from 24 to 26 March at the Landmark Centre in Lagos, this exhibition brings together technology providers, manufacturers and decision-makers from across the agro-industrial value chain.
Strengthening Sidel’s local presence in West Africa
Sidel’s participation follows the opening of its new Lagos office in October 2025, a strategic step that brought the company closer to customers across Nigeria and neighboring West African markets. The office serves as a regional hub for project management, engineering, after-sales services and customer engagement, reinforcing Sidel’s long-term commitment to customer proximity and sustainable growth in the region.
At Agrofood Nigeria, Sidel will highlight how this local presence is enabling closer collaboration with customers through servicing, field-based technical support and stronger day-to-day engagement. With local teams and field service expertise in Lagos, Sidel is well positioned to support customers not only with technology selection and line design, but also with operational performance, line efficiency and long-term reliability.

Nigeria is Africa’s largest consumer market and a key driver of regional growth. The country’s food and drink sector continues to expand, while rising urbanization and population growth are increasing demand for modern processing and packaging solutions. Visitors to the Sidel stand will be able to learn more about EvoBLOW Laser, Sidel’s latest breakthrough in PET bottle blowing technology. Using laser-based preform heating rather than traditional halogen systems, EvoBLOW Laser enables highly precise material distribution, supporting lightweighting, improved line efficiency and easier processing of recycled PET, including up to 100% rPET in industrial conditions.
Designed to help producers reduce material use and energy consumption while maintaining bottle performance, EvoBLOW Laser reflects Sidel’s focus on packaging performance and sustainability.
Visitors will also be able to explore Sidel’s broad range of packing technologies for the food and personal care industries. From traditional or robotic bottom, side or top-loading pick-and-place systems to wraparound solutions, Sidel offers flexible packing technologies that can be tailored to varied production requirements.
Synergy, part of the Sidel Group, will also be represented on the stand with cost-effective and scalable PET packaging solutions designed for low- to medium-speed applications. Together, Sidel and Synergy support a broad spectrum of customer needs in West Africa, from established manufacturers seeking high-performance integrated lines to smaller players and new entrants looking for reliable, scalable solutions that can grow with their business.
