SIEMENS CONGLETON MANUFACTURING SITE SECURES EUROPEAN-WIDE QUALITY MANAGEMENT PRIZE

Siemens Motion Control Congleton has won a prestigious prize at the EFQM Excellence Awards.In 2014, eight organisations, including Siemens Motion Control Congleton, were nominated for the EFQM Excellence Awards. Out of the eight nominees, the jury identified four prize winners. Winning a prize is, after the Awards, the highest recognition possible in this competition.
A prize winner is an organisation who shows excellent results in one specific area (for example in innovation, sustainability or leadership) and has demonstrated a very high overall maturity.
The Jury decided to award Siemens Motion Control Congleton a prize for "Leading with Vision, Inspiration and Integrity" and "Developing Organisational Capabilities".
Marc Amblard, Chief Executive Officer of EFQM comments: "The main challenge for Siemens Congleton, as with many manufacturers in Europe, is to secure its future. It needs to remain cost competitive within the global market, whilst ensuring its ability to deliver quality products on time, every time.
