Siemens launches world's most compact mass flow meter

Leading the way in flow measurement technology, Siemens Industry Automation, a division of Siemens Industry, has developed the world's most compact Coriolis solution, the Sitrans FC430.

The Sitrans FC430 is the latest addition to Siemens' extensive Coriolis flow measurement range. The digital flow meter features innovative technology to provide precise multi-parameter measurement while saving space within the plant.

It is suitable for measuring any liquid or gas in applications throughout the manufacturing process, such as fast filling, batch control, blending and dosing. The device has been designed with a high accuracy of 0.1 per cent and offers low pressure loss. The 100 Hertz signal transfer ensures speed of data delivery.

Operational efficiency is key for operators industry-wide and the Sitrans FC430 helps achieve this with its user-friendly design which reduces engineering time and provides direct access to all data and audit trails. With safety another integral priority for the industry, the Sitrans FC430 offers SIL (Safety Integrity Level) 2 and 3.
