The new Patlite LS7 is a 70mm diameter signal tower designed for use on food machinery where washdown conditions apply, and other applications where cleanliness is important. The stylish smooth outer casing eliminates dust traps and reduces the adhesion of water and dust. The casing is also resistant to stress cracking from oil mist. With an enclosure rating of IP67, the LS7 suits environments with jetted water. There are no external fixings that can trap dirt or corrode. Ambient temperature range is -30 to +60 °C.The LS7 is available with either 3 or 5 colour modules each of which has LED bulbs with high contrast and excellent visibility. These bulbs have a long life and are effectively maintenance free, as well as having a low current consumption of typically 30mA at 24V DC. Options for these signal towers are brackets for platform or wall mounting, and body colours of white, silver or black. A two tone buzzer version with 85 dB output is also available without reducing the IP67 rating.
