Signo-Nanocare launches fluorine-free glass and ceramic coating at kbb 2022

March 6-9th 2022 will see the biannual return of kbb to the NEC. Covering four halls, it’s the largest exhibition dedicated to the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom trade in Europe. It expects to attract over 15,000 visitors who come to view the newest trends in design, colour and innovation.
Following on from COP26, there will be a strong environmental emphasis covering all aspects of supply, such as product sourcing, manufacturing, waste reduction and product life extension.
Signo-Nanocare will be returning to kbb 2022 on stand L106, where it will display relevant products from it’s broad range , and launch Nanoflex™ Optiperl, a fluorine-free nano-coating that gives glass and ceramic surfaces the optimum ‘easy-clean’ finish.
The optimised hydrophobic quality of Optiperl features “glide” technology that ensures dirt particles rarely adhere to the coated substrate. If they do, they are very easily removed , without the need for harsh or abrasive cleaning agents, thus reducing water usage during cleaning.
Optiperl is ideal for use on many kitchen and bathroom surfaces:
- Shower glass and mirrors
- Glazed ceramic surfaces (toilets, sinks, glazed tiles)
- Glazed tile kitchen splash-backs
- Belfast sinks
Optiperl compliments Signo-Nanocare’s existing range of surface protection and appearance retention coatings, such as Dura.
Dura is a nano-ceramic whose attributes make it particularly suited to use on kitchen and bathroom surfaces:
- Stain prevention on matt porcelain sinks, granite worktops and other non-porous surfaces
- Scratch resistance on ceramic hobs, stainless steel fixtures and fittings
- Heat resistance, preventing heat marks and stains on worktops
The established retail application kit Showerguard™ has also been updated to include the fluorine free active Nanoflex™ Optiperl. The enhanced Showerguard™ kit will be featured alongside longterm anti-microbial home protection kits.
Signo-Nanocare’s range is supplied in bulk for application to equipment at the factory, or in hand application formats for on-site trade application.
