Smith & Loveless Inc. Highlights the EVERLAST™ Triplex Pump Station

Advanced Pump Capacity and Operational Efficiency for Wastewater Applications

Smith & Loveless Inc. highlights the EVERLAST™ Triplex Pump Station, an advanced solution in its innovative line of above-ground wastewater pump stations. Designed with three premium efficient STAR ONE™ Non-Clog Pumps, the EVERLAST™ Triplex system enhances pumping efficiency and reliability while continuing the Smith & Loveless commitment to operator safety, low operational costs, and ease of maintenance.

The EVERLAST™ Triplex Pump Station delivers superior performance by incorporating a unique three-pump arrangement, a market differentiation when compared to standard duplex systems. This configuration significantly increases the station’s pumping capacity, capable of handling up to 2600 gallons per minute (gpm) with a total dynamic head (TDH) of up to 160 feet. For applications requiring the ability to handle heavy debris, such as those near dental offices, day-care centers, or commercial developments, Smith & Loveless offers the optional X-PELLER® impeller to prevent clogs from flushable materials and other obstructions.

The three-pump configuration of the EVERLAST™ Triplex Pump Station offers improved operational efficiency compared to standard duplex systems. In pure static systems, it can double the station’s capacity, reducing energy consumption by up to 5 percent and cutting connected horsepower by as much as 20 Hp, leading to significant energy cost savings over time.

In keeping with Smith & Loveless' focus on operator safety, all pumps are positioned above ground on a stainless steel baseplate. This eliminates the need for confined space entry for maintenance, ensuring that operators can access pumps and components with ease. The station is factory-built and tested to Hydraulic Institute standards before shipment, minimizing installation time and ensuring that system performance matches customer requirements from day one.

The system also features the QUICKSMART™ PLC control panel, an intuitive touchscreen interface that provides real-time operational data, system alarms, and easy-to-use settings for station operators. Additionally, RapidJack® Check Valves (an optional addition) eliminate the need for time-consuming valve disassembly, allowing quick access for maintenance with just four bolts.

The DURO-LAST® stainless steel baseplate, available as an option, provides the highest level of durability with a 25-year warranty, protecting the station from corrosion and wear over decades of use.
