Software automation firm creates Manchester jobs with office opening

Digital engagement and IT automation specialist Parker Software has opened the doors of its new office in Manchester. The office -۠the company's first UK facility outside of Stoke-on-Trent -۠is located on the ground floor of 274 Deansgate and will create a number of jobs in Parker's sales team.Parker Software sells advanced business automation software, which streamlines processes and improving efficiency. This software is part of a suite, consisting of three core products that enable companies to live chat with customers, see who is on their website and automate key business processes. The products have proven increasingly popular with businesses in the North West, prompting the expansion.
Scott Barnsley, group sales director at Parker Software, was responsible for initiating the move to Manchester. He is now leading the sales team in the Deansgate offices, with plans to work alongside local businesses through the city's Chamber of Commerce.
"Manchester has long been at the forefront of the UK's thriving technology industry, which is reflected in our recent sales activity in the area," Barnsley explained. "The office enables us to form stronger relationships with new and existing customers in the region, which we will do by speaking at one of the Manchester Chamber of Commerce's tech nights later in the year."
The expansion brings with it employment prospects for the local community as Parker Software will be looking to recruit sales representatives to work from the Deansgate office. The company is currently looking for applicants to fill positions at levels from junior to management.
"Part of the relocation process involves building a new sales team to help us continue our successes in the area," continued Barnsley. "We want the best start in Manchester, so we'll be looking for the right staff to emulate and build on the success of the Stoke-on-Trent office.
"Experience is only part of our criteria. We're proud of our internal training program and so are able to train staff effectively even if they join us with limited sales experience; equipping them with the tools for success. The right attitude and mentality are much more important to us than years in industry."
