SolutionsPT has announced it is now the sole distributer of the Smartglance mobile reporting product in the UK and Ireland, which is now wholly owned by Invensys.SmartGlance, is an industrial mobile reporting business tool delivering secure, on-demand access to rich, graphical KPI's from any operations data source via mobile devices, allowing industrial personnel to make smarter, faster decisions.
Providing connectors to access data from different manufacturing sources, including both Wonderware and non-Wonderware systems, it offers users access to important business data alerts and notifications. This information is available in a native mobile application optimised for any mobile device.
This new technology supports quick and more accurate decisions, the ability to take prompt action, and to share data with colleagues. Additionally, it can push data from virtually any source, including popular process historians and any SQL database. As well as its fast and simple implementation, it has only a small installation footprint and no additional hardware is required.
