Spelsberg UK appoints John Clarke as Area Sales Manager for West region

Spelsberg UK, the largest supplier of non-metallic electrical enclosures in the UK, is supporting its continued growth with the appointment of John Clarke as Area Sales Manager for the West region. John's recruitment is the latest in a series of appointments that has grown the external and internal sales teams in response to growing demand from new and existing customers for customised enclosures at industry beating lead times.Having started his career as a qualified Electrical Engineer, John is now an experienced Sales Engineer who has the technical knowledge required to provide expert advice during the specification stages and reliable after-sales support. In his most recent role, John was responsible for supporting consultants and contractors design and implement technically and commercially viable switchgear solutions for Building Services Industry.
John comments: "Spelsberg is a name that I've always been aware of, and I have used its enclosures in the past myself. The company is currently going through a period of investment. I was already aware that they are able to offer fully customised and installed solutions with engineering support and lead times far superior to other businesses in the same field - so I was keen to join the team.
"Working in Wales and West England, I look forward to getting to know the businesses that are long term partners of Spelsberg, but also forging my own new relationships. My technical knowledge as an Electrical Engineer will allow me to provide the level of technical insight that is expected of the brand."
